Handwritten Letter to Trisha Yearwood and Robert Reynolds, formerly of the Mavericks. This letter accompanied an antique silver tea set (featured in previous auction), Johnny and June gave Trisha and Robert for their wedding in 1994. Unique in that both congratulatory notes are handwritten on the same piece of paper. As well, you rarely see celebrity to celebrity correspondence surface for public acquisition.

Brief Description: Three historic, country music recording artists, signed LP’s. Faron Young, Lynn Anderson and Sonny James. These signed LP’s are from the collection of a then young country music fan, who took thousands of photos and obtained hundreds of autographs in person, during the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. The collection merits a book due to the quality of the never before seen photographs, the fan obtained in her lifetime.
Brief Description: An original sign from Nashville’s Broken Spoke Saloon, which was founded in 1971. The saloon famous for hosting songwriters nights, was where Tim McGraw and the Dance Hall Doctors were the house band before Tim became a household name. Daryle Singletary was discovered at the Broken Spoke by Capital Records label executive Rob Henden. Stephen M. Shutts, President of Rockology Auctions recalls hanging out at the Broken Spoke with prolific songwriter Whitey Shafer, who penned numerous songs recorded by George Strait (All My Ex’s Live In Texas), George Jones, Lefty Frizzell and Keith Whitley to name a few. Approximately 30 years old, the artifact is ideal for the Nashville museum owner, bar, man-cave or for the creative decorator who wishes to turn the sign into a bed, headboard. Good condition.
