Brief Description: Platinum record award (CD format), issued to an MCA affiliate, for the success of the Rhythm Country and Blues CD. This release featured numerous recording artists, including B.B. King, George Jones, Trisha Yearwood, Tanya Tucker, Little Richard, Aaron Neville, Gladys Knight, Vince Gill and more.
This handcrafted novelty guitar clock, once was displayed in Ferlin Husky’s office. These were offered as souvenirs, at the now defunct “Wings of a Dove” museum.
Two checks from Johnny Cash. One unused check from the joint account of Johnny and June Carter Cash, from their Jamaican residence. A second check signed “Johnny Cash”, but not in his hand, for $300 cash, dated 1967.
Gospel greats, the Blackwood Brothers early career song booklet with a page of handwritten lyrics. Both pieces were acquired in Chance Martin’s possessions. Chance was Johnny Cash’s longtime manager and confidant.
