Col. Tom Parker Office Tree Log (Lot 111)
Name of Lot: Colonel Tom Parker Office Oak Tree LogSize: 3 1/2′ x 9′Brief Description: Certainly one of the more unusual items we have offered, is this massive oak tree log from the tree that towered over Col. Tom Parker’s historic management office in Madison, Tennessee. Folk lore has it that Colonel Tom Parker first met Elvis Presley under this tree, has having been introduced by Hank Snow. Of course masses of new Elvis fans would believe this encounter happened on a ferris wheel at some dusty carnival, based on the recently released “Elvis” movie. The tree was sadly removed when the office compound was dismantled to make way for a car wash. Rockology Auctions President Stephen M. Shutts, recommended saving the wood for historic minded purposes. Ideally the log could milled to utilize as paneling, a piece of furniture, guitars etc. Please contact Rockology Auctions to inspect in person. The tree is pictured and discussed in two reference books, as well as substantiated by two COA’s. The winning bidder is responsible for loading and removing within a 60 day time frame.Estimated Value: $2000-$3000 -

Elvis Presley Circle G Ranch Dodge Truck (Lot 33)
Name of Lot: Elvis Presley Circle G Ranch Dodge TruckSize: 32′Brief Description: Elvis Presley leased, 1967 Dodge horse hauler. Elvis leased this truck to haul horses during his Circle G Ranch ownership, in Horn Lake, Mississippi. The original registration shows “Elvis Presley / Circle G Ranch” in type. It is not known to the extent in which the truck was utilized at the Circle G Ranch, other than it was leased to locate horses to the new playground of Elvis, new bride, Priscilla and the Memphis Mafia and their families, in 1967. Upon liquidation of the ranch holdings in 1969, this truck’s use was terminated and eventually made its way to a Californian ranch. Note the existing ranch logo was on the truck, when it was abandoned on ranch property decades ago. It was purchased by Stephen M. Shutts in 2015 and relocated to under roof storage in nearby Elk Grove, California, where it remains to this day.Due to the Elvis ownership, Dodge / RAM Trucks considered using the truck, post restoration as a marketing tool. RAM considered a commercial treatment in which the truck was to “travel” cross country picking up notable recording artists who would collaborate on music fitting for the King and potential RAM truck buyers. The songs were to be written via “Hollywood licensing” in the back of truck. The truck’s destination was of course Graceland. With RAM’s interest, AutoZone (headquartered in Memphis), wanted the truck to make appearances at selected AutoZones in the Midwest. As well the truck was considered to be a mobile recording studio in Los Angeles at one point. Vegas Rat Rods and Gearz both requested the truck make it’s transformation on their reality TV series, with VRR doing a restomod and Gearz restoring the truck to it’s originality, inclusive of the Circle G Ranch logo. The truck ran several years ago, but was relocated to its current storage, via a low-boy, in 2015. Clear title and zero storage liens, the move from it’s current location must be executed in 30 days or storage rental agreement transferred to the new buyer. More photos are available upon request.Estimated Value: $18,000-$22,000 -
