These well worn vintage boots were from the Dick West estate. Dick West (Thompson) was Jerry Lee’s bodyguard, manager and confidant from 1963 to 1982. The Thompson family did not know if these boots belonged to Dick or to Jerry Lee. The size is stamped 9 1/2, but the boots measure 11 1/2″ from toe tip to outer arch above heel. They are indicative of Jerry Lee’s late 1960’s stage worn style. This particular style boot is very sought after in the vintage clothing world. The boots will be issued with a Rockology Auctions COA stating they are from Dick Wests estate only, since the exact ownership is inconclusive. Sold as is. No reserve.
