Name of Lot: Colonel Tom Parker Management Office BarBrief Description: The original bar from the lower level of Colonel Tom Parker / Elvis Presley’s Management Office in Madison, Tennessee. The small office complex housed all things Elvis Presley’s career management from 1955 to the early 1980’s. The complex would become storage for numerous pieces of memorabilia, including Elvis’s famous Nudie gold lame’ suit, until entire artifacts acquisition by Elvis Presley Enterprise in the 1990’s. In more recent years the complex became a law office. The property sold to make way for a car wash several years ago and was systematically dismantled by preservationist / filmmaker Brian Oxley.Shown predominantly is the bar re-assembled at Johnny Cash’s Hideaway Farm in Bon Aqua, Tennessee. The bar is now being sold to parlay funds towards an Elvis Presley documentary. The bar is original in entirety and includes the two candy-stripe posts, four gold art deco lights and two red art deco lights. Included as well, is the original LP / record cabinet which originally sat across from the bar. It currently was configured adjacent to the bar for display purposes.Included with the purchase are two books documenting the dismantle / preservation of the entire complex. Additionally there are several Youtube videos showcasing the office complex before and during the dismantle process. The estimate reflects the historic value.
